The IMF summer camp is the centrepiece of our musical friendship. At the beginning over 100 participants and tutors arrive from the different countries in Germany, Poland, Italy, Latvia or Russia. Apart from the intense work on chamber music pieces or orchestral oeuvres, the programme consists of excursions and our Olympic camp games, where the participants compete in four groups in various games and tasks. The participants jointly organise the evenings with songs and dancing. On one evening the concert of the tutors is a musical highlight, and the two or three concerts during the last days of the camp are an opportunity for all musicians to present their musical work and achievements.
